FAQ
Is Connected PNW therapy?
No. Connected PNW is a structured, skills-based dating and interpersonal learning program rather than therapy.
Is this a dating service or matchmaking service?
No. The focus is on learning, practice, and interpersonal growth rather than simply pairing people up as a service.
What makes this different from dating advice?
Connected PNW goes beyond advice by giving participants structured opportunities to practice, receive feedback, and integrate what they learn over time.
What is paired practice?
Participants move into a deeper phase of practice where they are paired with another participant, with input into the match, and date that person over three months while receiving coaching along the way.
Who is this program for?
Connected PNW is for adults who are actively dating or want to be, and who want to understand themselves better, build communication skills, and practice in a supported environment before higher-stakes dating.
How long is the program?
The program takes approximately six months to complete. It includes an initial group learning phase followed by a three-month paired-practice phase, allowing participants to build skills, receive feedback, and apply what they are learning in real-life interactions. Specific start and end dates may vary by cohort. Reach out to learn more about the current schedule.
How are groups organized?
Groups are generally organized by age and life stage to create a more relevant and comfortable experience for participants. Our typical age ranges are 26–35, 35–45, and 45+. These ranges are guidelines rather than strict cutoffs. We also consider factors such as personality, life experience, and overall group fit when determining placement. As a result, there may be some flexibility around the age boundaries to help create groups that work well together.
